The AKN FSK (flight spare kit) is a lower deck container and, by default, a forkliftable container which is often preferred by transporters because of its easy handling. VRR has manufactured various configurations of the AKN container. Compared with other standard AKN/AKE containers, the focus of this version is on the adjustable interior design and its enhanced rigidity and security.

The inside of the container is divided into two sections, a main section on the right and a smaller section on the left. Both sections are provided with two height adjustable shelves and are separated with a net to prevent loose items going astray. The left section can easily be accessed by opening a hatch located at the front of the container. A cover-net combination serves as the main door and is provided with a security locking system to prevent unauthorized access.

More features:

  • The door can also be a solid (foldable) door.
  • The base is built upon a 1562x1534mm (61.5x60.4inch) pallet and is forkliftable on all four sides
  • The sheets can be made of an extremely durable sheet material
  • The panels are fixed to the extrusions by maxlock rivets which assure a longer lifetime of the container’s hull structure
  • Additional seat track points are placed on top of the base to fasten the cover door (net)
  • A grasp handle is placed on each corner for easy handling during transport
