Aircraft pallets

Pallet serve as a platform on which cargo can be secured with net/straps. They come in many dimensions and range from lightweight to heavy-duty.

Aircraft pallets Medium & heavy duty pallets

Medium and heavy-duty pallets can be used on a wide range of passenger and freighter aircraft. Since they can be loaded onto either the lower or main deck, they are versatile. Despite their relatively light weight, they are particularly suitable for loads that require considerable or exceptional weight support, and for loads that are extremely large and, therefore, difficult to fit into a container.

Base sizes

Every standard and custom size, from the small to the larger pallet types.

Strong & durable

Corrosion resistant and extremely robust due to stringer-based core and the use of high quality aluminium alloys.

Operational features

Includes forkliftable, integrated seat track rails or threated bushes, tie down rings, additional strapping points, and ISO corners.

Aircraft pallets Military pallets

Military pallets are used for transporting military equipment safely and quickly to situations all around the world. They have a base that interfaces with the cargo loading & locking system of military aircraft (463L) such as the C-130, C-27 and A400M. Military pallets are very rigid and robust and they meet all military and commercial air transport requirements.

Base sizes

Comes in standard sizes, such as the commonly used HCU-6/E pallet, or any custom size.

Strong & durable

Corrosion resistant and extremely robust due to heavy-duty stringer-based core construction and the use of high quality aluminium alloys.

Operational features

Includes forklift pockets, integrated securing provisions for nets/straps or any other component, tie down rings, and ISO corners.

Aircraft pallets Engine stand pallets

Repairing or servicing an aircraft sometimes requires an entire aircraft engine to be transported by air. For this task, an aircraft engine stand is needed. An aircraft pallet forms the base of an engine stand, which in turn supports the engine. VRR is able to develop and built engine stand pallets which can be certified, enabling them to be locked into the aircraft cargo loading system instead of strapped to the aircraft. This saves considerable loading time and cargo hold space.

Engine stand types

Pallets can be customised for various types of engine stands. Features include cut-outs, recess areas and attachment interfaces.

Strong & durable

Robust and corrosion resistant due to the stringer-based core, which make engine stand pallets much stronger than standard single-sheet pallets.

Certified

Specialised in engine stand certification. All pallets comply with the requirements of the world’s airlines and aircraft and are approved by the civil aviation authority.

Aircraft pallets Seat pallets

Seat pallets are pallets on which seats can be installed, giving cargo aircraft the opportunity to carry passengers without permanent modifications to the aircraft itself. Seat pallets, which have both civil and military applications, are loaded onto an aircraft’s main deck. Various dimensions and layouts are available, and certain pallets can be used in a variety of aircraft. Users of seat pallets include operators, conversion companies and air forces. Note that our solutions do not include seats.

Base sizes

Standard and customised base sizes with various seating configurations possible.

Aircraft types

Suitable for freighter and military aircraft types.

Additional features

Includes integrated seat track rails for seat attachment, anti-slip flooring, storage space for auxiliary equipment, and emergency fluorescent strips.
