Aircraft containers

Containers give maximum protection and security to your cargo. They have various contours and dimensions depending on the cargo and aircraft.

Aircraft containers Lower deck containers

Almost all aircraft, whether passenger or freighter, have a lower deck to carry cargo. That ‘belly compartment’ can accommodate a range of Unit Load Devices (ULDs). So, if a standard baggage container doesn’t meet your cargo needs, there is a non-standard alternative. VRR provides lower deck containers in many shapes and sizes, with a variety of possible features and an optimum balance between durability, weight and cost based on customers’ need.

Aircraft containers Main deck containers

Freighter aircraft such as the A330, B747, B777 can accommodate Unit Load Devices (ULDs) on the main deck. Main deck containers come in various sizes and are frequently contoured to maximise cargo space. Some are suitable for narrow-bodied planes, while others fit only wide-bodied planes. Whatever shape, size, weight and value of your goods, and whatever aircraft type you use, VRR can create the right main deck ULD for you.

Aircraft containers Tools and (spare) parts containers

A Fly Spare Kit (FSK) container, also known as Fly Away Kit (FAK) container, is designed to hold tools and (spare) parts. The interior is often customised to hold the special equipment needed for situations such as changing an aircraft wheel or carrying out a fuel tank entry & rescue. The mobility, operational convenience and user friendliness of the FSK containers makes it particularly useful for rapid deployment teams such as maintenance crews and salvage companies.
